Post-secondary transcripts

An official transcript is a complete record of all academic information you completed at an educational institution. An official transcript includes:

  • The courses you took.
  • The final marks you received.
  • Your degree designation (if applicable).

How to submit a transcript

If you attended a post-secondary institution in Ontario, please request your transcripts electronically through your Ontario Universities’ Application Centre (OUAC) application. Please note that the OUAC electronic document request is the preferred method for the submission of official post-secondary transcripts.

All other applicants must have their host institution(s) send final original transcript(s) in a duly sealed envelope directly to:

Office of the Registrar - Admissions
University of Ontario Institute of Technology

The following documents will not be considered official by the university, but can be used for admission consideration:

  • Photocopied, scanned or faxed transcripts.

Note: All transcript information is confidential. Envelopes must not be opened by the applicant.
